They will play, lose, lose, win, win, walk away then think "hmm, I was on a winning streak, well I'll keep playing." The hopes that they had for continuing the winning streak are quickly dashed & now they have retreated to the mindframe that they have to make up for their losses. It's a nasty picture to have to paint but it's unfortunately the reality of many novice players. You have the Novice player, I do not recommend a novice player to watch advanced poker strategy videos because you will truly become overwhelmed and you have will no idea what to take to the table. As a novice player I recommend you watch videos that pertain to the emotions of the game and the general ideas & strategies to keep your money within your own reach.

As far as an amatuer, it means you are teetering in between knowing what to do and how to do it but you haven't mastered the emotions behind the game. Here is what I suggest, get ove to wherever you like watching videos, look up videos that pertain to people playing under pressue or having a string of what we like to call "bad table" luck. Study what they do when certain situations happen to them.
